Changing room
A damp environment, hard use and nobody who remembers to switch off. IP rating and presence control are the entire requirement list.
Changing rooms are used in sessions and stand empty in between. They also account for a large share of a sports facility's unnecessary operating hours, because nobody switches off on the way out to the pitch.
Moisture decides the product choice: luminaires and sensors in showers and saunas need the right IP rating, and the control gear belongs outside the wet zone.
The hold time counts from the last movement, not from a fixed timer.
Showers and saunas make demands an ordinary ceiling fitting cannot meet.
Full output on demand, without it becoming the everyday level.
Lighting requirements
| Area / task | Ēm (lux) | UGR max | U₀ min | Ra min |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Changing area | 200 | 25 | 0,40 | 80 |

Target values per SS-EN 12464-1. The values are a starting point for the conversation, not a lighting design. The client's own requirements, the geometry of the room and its surfaces decide the outcome.
