Description

The CBU-TED-LR is a Casambi Bluetooth trailing-edge phase-cut dimmer for recessed mounting behind a standard wall switch or inside a luminaire/junction box. Input 85–240 VAC 50/60 Hz, up to 100 W at 230 VAC, output current 0.43 A. Trailing-edge cut suits dimmable LED lamps and low-wattage halogen/incandescent loads that need a soft turn-off edge. Long Range Bluetooth (up to roughly 200 m in open air) makes it a good fit for larger buildings with long distances between Casambi mesh nodes. The compact 40.4 × 36.3 × 14.0 mm housing fits inside a tight box behind an existing switch – a common way to retrofit wireless control without pulling new cable. IP20, operating range -20…+45°C, CE marked. The unit joins the Casambi mesh (up to 250 devices) with built-in over-current and over-temperature protection. Always confirm the connected load is trailing-edge dimmable before installing – the wrong dimming type on the load can cause flicker or buzzing. Suited to renovation projects where an existing wall switch needs to become wirelessly controllable via Casambi.
