Description

The Xpress Wall Frame Black is a surface-mounted wall frame for the Casambi Xpress switch (90 × 90 mm), letting the switch be mounted directly on a wall with no recessed back box. The frame is screwed to the wall with the supplied screws and wall plugs through four holes (Ø5.0 mm, hole spacing 78.3 mm and 40.0 mm c/c), after which the Xpress switch clips magnetically onto the mounting plate inside the frame – the same magnetic fixing the switch normally uses, but now with a sturdier, more permanent look. IP20, indoor use only. This is a practical option in spaces with no back box available in the wall – older buildings, brick or concrete walls where recessed mounting would need extensive cutting, or refits where new cabling should be avoided. The switch stays removable for battery changes despite the fixed frame. The black finish matches dark wall surfaces and black switch ranges, staying discreet against dark backgrounds. Pair it with the black Xpress switch (XPRESS-LR-B or equivalent) for matching colours. Suited to renovation and new installations where a wireless Xpress switch needs to sit securely and permanently mounted with no visible cabling.
