Description

The CGW-001-PSU is a Casambi Cloud Gateway that connects the local Casambi Bluetooth network to the internet, enabling remote control, cloud-based monitoring and integration with third-party systems. Connectivity via Wi-Fi 2.4/5 GHz, Bluetooth 5.0 BLE and Gigabit Ethernet gives flexible network options depending on the site's existing IT infrastructure. The PSU variant is powered by 5 VDC via USB-C (min 3A) with a supplied power adapter, making for a simple installation at any standard outlet with no need for a PoE switch. Indoor use only, operating range 0…+50°C. The gateway bridges the on-site wireless Casambi mesh network to Casambi's cloud service, which is required for remote access, cloud-based scheduling and certain integrations (BMS/API, for example). When installing, ensure a stable internet connection and that the USB-C power supply can sustain at least 3A continuously. Suited to installations with no PoE infrastructure available but that still need remote control and cloud connectivity.
